Terms of Use Agreement for Simpson Botany Symbols font

This botany symbols font and associated files are © Niki Simpson, and are subject to the terms of this agreement, which you accept by downloading the font. Although care has been taken, I cannot guarantee that the font will work on your system.

Personal / Scientific use:

1. The font is free for personal use.
2. The font may not be modified.
3. You may use the font for creating symbols on paper and other media, including digital formats, as long as the symbols are not sold.
4. For publication in scientific works, use of the font must be acknowledged.
5. The font may be used to produce published printed scientific material, as long as one copy of each published work in which my font is used is sent to me.

Commercial use in images or text:

The font may be used, without charge, to produce published printed material as long as one copy of each work, published or sold, in which my font is used, is sent to me. For artists and designers using the font within images, an archive quality print, or actual item using the font in some way, is acceptable.

Commercial use in software:

Should this font be wanted for inclusion in commercial software, please contact me for terms, and to secure my written permission in advance. However, I retain the right to withhold permission for the font to be included in any software I consider unsuitable for any reason.

Distribution:

The font may be distributed as long as:
1. no fee is charged for the font.
2. all files are included.
3. the font is not modified in any way.
